POSITION TITLE: Cost Estimator

POSITION DUTIES: Perform estimating duties for large construction projects to aid management in bidding on construction projects. Estimating duties include conceptual, schematic, design, development, construction, GMP’s, and Lump Sum Bids. Analysis of subcontractor budget price and bids. Incorporate subcontractor and vendor budget pricing and bids into project estimate. Write trade scopes of work and provide to subcontractors for use. Lead the value engineering or cost savings process as dictated by budget constraints. Update and maintain the pricing data base in the estimating software system.

REQUIREMENTS: Req. B.S. Construction Engineering Mgmt or Civil Engineering.
