Construction of a 1500 square-foot radio broadcast studio within the first floor of an existing corporate building for Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM daily live broadcast.

• This project was a tenant improvement project to an existing building,  consisting of a state-of-the-art recording studio built over parking garage located on a busy LA street.  Using structural sound isolation, mason isolators, slab flooring, curtain walls, sound mediation ceilings and walls, The RMS Group was able to block traffic sounds from both the street and underground parking facility.

• Installed two isolation walls of the exterior out of solid glass that eliminated exterior sound transmission while providing optimal clarity for video broadcasting

• Selected specialized high-volume, low-frequency air HVAC equipment that eliminated sound transmission during broadcasts

• Created a high ceiling to provide ample space for both the HVAC equipment and the video lighting needed for video broadcasts

• Installed the light grid, cable and electrical connectivity for production lights, additional speakers and camera locations which was coordinated with their production group
